Mullti-award-winning design collective Leap Design For Change was perfectly placed for leading Dott Cornwall’s Eco Design Challenge. Under the mantra ‘Design for Change’ – which fuses a passion for both design and the environment to change the way people work and think about design – Leap has worked with the National Trust, Good Energy, the Eden Project and Save The Children, to name but a few. Leap’s director, Matt Hocking, has also been teaching children in Cornish schools about sustainable design since 2008, so was the ideal candidate to deliver this project that engages and inspires Year 8 pupils across Cornwall to create innovative ways of reducing their schools’ carbon footprints.
